Easy Burrito

Ingredients

  • 1lb ground beef (we prefer 80/20 but you can go leaner if you want) You can also substitute with turkey or chicken
  • 1 large sweet onion (chopped)
  • 2 green bell peppers (chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • Tspn.  Ground Tumeric
  • 2 Tspn. McCormick's Chili Powder (more if you like spicy)
  • 1 Tspn. Smoked Paprika
  • 3 Tbsn. Old El Paso Taco Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 1 can Amy's Refried Beans
  • Kraft Mexican Cheese Blend (to your preference)
  • Food For Life Tortillas

Directions

  1. Mix the ground beef with tumeric, chili powder, paprika and taco sauce together. Use 1 Tbsn. of Olive Oil in a large stovetop skillet. Place meat in skillet and cook through on medium-high heat. If meat looks a little dry, use more taco sauce.
  2. In a separate skillet, use the rest of the olive oil and place the onions and green peppers in the pan. Season with salt & pepper. Cook until the onions are transparent.
  3. In a small pot, warm up the refried beans. Heat the tortilla's in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds.
  4. Once all is cook, load up your burrito how you like it and enjoy!!

This looks really good. I've not heard of those tortilla's, are they good? I have yet to find ones I like and so miss food like this. Research time :)

They are my absolute favorite. They were just on sale in Whole Foods, 2 for $5, but you might be able to find them in your local grocer too.
