Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burgers

PRODUCT REVIEW: Amylu Chicken Burgers
Caramelized Onion & Gouda Chicken Burgers.... need I say more? This is another awesome Costco find. Perfect for that busy night when you have no idea what in the world you are going to make for dinner and you just don't have the energy to think about it. That was Tuesday night for me. And these burgers saved me some sanity.

The package reads "All Natural. Gluten Free." right on top. They're pre-packaged in sets of two which is great because it's Costco-sized and we're only 2 people to feed. The rest you can just freeze. The burgers are pre-cooked as well so all you have to do is throw them on your Foreman, skillet, BBQ or whatever else you have. Microwave and oven work too but I opted with the skillet to get a nice seared bottom...and to at least feel like I put some effort in to dinner.

Since they are pre-cooked, the food snob in me was slightly skeptical about how they would taste but they were great! The burger packs A LOT of flavor so I don't think you need any condiments on top. I went bun-less with this one and we enjoyed it with a baked potato (the nifty 10 minute microwavable ones) and some asparagus. If you can snag these on your next Costco trip, I definitely suggest you do. They are great for a quick weeknight meal.

I loved eating these burgers when I was in the US. Can't get them in the UK :(

Eat these all the time for lunch. Torch em over a flame for a short time, then microwave for 1 min. Add onions, avocado, and habanero sauce.
The sodium is a bit high for me (560 mg without bread and extras), but I can't help but eat them.
I also reuse the plastic containers, which seal nicely and only need a rinse. I typically use them for the Kirkland Turkey Breast/w juices.

These are quite the find, imho! As long term Costco members (remember the Price Club) it was so cost-effective with a growing family. Now tis a bit more work if purchasing in bulk. Tried these on a whim as I'm not a fan of meat i don't recognize such as hot dogs, sausage, and many ground products. These are wicked good! 150 calories with 22 grams of protein, and may not be a daily healthy staple, but packaged in 2's with the reusable cello tub, they are a winner in our book. Glad I found this great blog thanks!

Please talk to Costco and get your products back in the Vancouver, WA warehouse.
If they would demo your products I am sure people would buy them.
